Here is what PCSO Furmidge and PCSO Rawson has been up to over the last week:
x2 School lunch time visits They visited Renishaw Primary School and Marsh Lane Primary school, giving young people the chance to speak to them freely about anything- not just listening to presentations. These relaxed sessions help build trust and open conversations in a comfortable environment.
x2 Community Catch Ups These were held at the Eckington Civic Centre and Renishaw Sports and Social Club, giving residents the opportunity to speak to police about any concerns, worries or local issues
Crime prevention stall- Eckington swimming Baths This was a crime prevention stall handing out free goodies and offering practical crime prevention advice to the community
x2 Street meets These were carried out at local anti-social behaviour hotspots to prevent, deter and detect crime while also engaging directly with residents and young children.
Alongside engagement work, we have also attended incidents as required in the area.
Thankyou for your continued support- if you see them out and about, please stop and say hello.
